We do not use cookies or collect any personal data for visitors to our website; brighterinspirations.io. If you decide to purchase a license for one of our applications we collect the minimal personal data in order to fulfil our obligations. We are committed to data privacy and the associated regulations such as the GDPR. 
This policy details what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how your data is handled and your rights to your data. We are committed to never selling your personal data.

Personal data collected from guest visitors to our website
  • We do not collect any personal data from guests accessing our website
  • We do not use cookies on our website
  • We do not share or sell personal information with or to third parties, including advertising companies
  • We do use a privacy centric website statistics solution, developed by Brighter Inspirations on our website; it logs the page a user has visited, the referrer, the user agent and the country of the visitor; this is used for website analytics.
  • Our web servers log page visits, including the IP address of visitor; this data is retained for up to twenty eight days for system security purposes; these logs are not analysed for marketing or website analytical purposes. 
Personal data collected from customers accessing our website

We are committed to collecting only the personal data we require to provide you with the services you have subscribed to and to comply with any legal obligations we have. We use a few carefully selected external service providers for specific purposes, which are detailed below. We only share information with them which is required in order to fulfil the services they are providing for us.

Data collected
  • E-mail address: we require this information to create an account and purchase a license to use our solutions. This is so you can login and access the solutions and in order to send you invoices and renewal reminders
  • A first-party cookie session is stored on your device whilst you are logged in; this is required so that our systems can validate your session and allow you to access your account
  • All of the data you provide us with are kept secure on servers hosted by one of our service providers. Details on which providers we use across different geographic locations can be found below
  • Transactional emails are sent and received from iCloud+ operated by Apple Inc. We do not utilise open tracking or link tracking. Emails sent to us may be kept in order that we have a history of past correspondence with our customers and to assist us with any further enquiries. We use this information solely in connection with responding to customer enquiries
  • Feedback, bug reports or feature requests submitted by customers will be kept, including the customers email address. We use this information to understand the request, track the popularity of requests and notify customers once the feature is released or the bug is resolved
Data retention

We will retain your personal data for the duration of your subscription as necessary to provide you with the services included in your subscription. We may also retain personal data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect our legal rights.

Server providers and locations

Our primary network and virtual servers are provided by AlphaVPS and the servers are located within the United Kingdom. 

We also have virtual servers provided by the following service providers to provide either global CDN, DNS services or Data Backup:

  • AlphaVPS (US)
  • Binary Lane (Australia and Singapore)
  • Gullo's Hosting (UK, Canada, US, Australia and Singapore)
  • KhanWebHost (South Africa)
  • SoftShellWeb (Taiwan)
  • SolidSEOVPS (Canada)

Our licensing servers are located within the UK; your email address and license details will be stored there. Other personal information, such as full name, company name and address will be stored on the servers located within the country you placed the order from, with the exception of New Zealand which is stored in Australia.
